Alec Milne is a seasoned entrepreneur and founder with over three decades of experience building companies from the ground up.
A graduate of Carleton University's Commerce program, Alec launched his first venture in 1995 with a $10,000 investment. Since then, he has founded and scaled more than a dozen businesses across a range of industries, collectively generating over $1 billion in revenue.
As founder of Vertria, Alec brings that same entrepreneurial discipline to a broader mission: developing business leaders who are as committed to global impact as they are to commercial success. Vertria reflects his belief that education — grounded in real-world experience and a sense of responsibility — is the foundation of meaningful, lasting change.
Alec and his wife, Anne, divide their time between Ottawa, Canada, and Tivat, Montenegro.
